    I got a bit trigger happy earlier this year and bought two classic cars. My wife is now wanting one of the garage spaces back, so unfortunately this one has to go. This is a nice driver to take to car shows or just cruise on the weekends. Every time we take it out we get many compliments on it. I’ve spent some time looking over this car and overall it’s in great shape and a real beauty. The known issues listed below are me being as thorough and upfront as I can be, but many are to be expected on a 50 year old vehicle. None of them stop the vehicle from being driven and enjoyed today. We take it to car shows ourselves right now. The vehicle is available for you to check out any time or hire an inspection to be done and I can make it available.

    History of car / ownership:
    I am the third owner of this car. The original owner purchased it new in California where it spent the majority of it’s life before making it’s way up to Oregon and Washington. I purchased it from the original owner’s daughter, who inherited it from her father’s estate. According to the daughter, the odometer has not rolled over and the ~75k miles are all original, though I’m unable to verify this as there is no history of service records, etc.
    At some point in the recent history the car went through a cosmetic restoration that included new paint and a refreshed interior. All major components are original, with the exception of the distributor, which was replaced with an electronic ignition at some point in it’s life. I am unaware of any rebuilds of the engine or transmission, but both run well and don’t show any signs of major issues.
    I have not found any sign of rust or rust repair on this car. At some point the driver rear bumper looks to have been in a collision and is tweaked with some of the chrome plating chipped. The driver rear quarter panel also looks to have had some body work (looking from inside the trunk), but the work looks to have been done well.
    Recent work / maintenance:
    • New engine oil and filter
    • New spark plugs and wires
    • New transmission oil, filter, and pan gasket
    • Replaced rear transmission output shaft seal
    • New front brake calipers, pads, and lines (both sides)
    • New driver’s side convertible top hydraulic lift cylinder
    • New Edelbrock air cleaner (original air intake included, see pics
    here
    )
    Known issues:
    • Passenger front turn signal indicator loose / rattles slightly
    • Steering wheel rim blow (aka horn) does not work
    • Driver door window out of alignment, rolls up but rattles
    • Passenger door contacts front passenger fender when closed (see pics
    here
    )
    • Heater core was bypassed at some point (assuming original failed, new one included in sale)
    • Rear bumper on driver’s side slightly tweaked with chipped chrome plating (see pics
    here
    )
    • Driver rear tail light missing trim and in it’s place is chrome tape molding (see pics
    here
    , original trim piece included)
    • A few small paint chips where body lines meet (see pics
    here
    )
    • Two paint cracks on front of hood (see pics
    here
    )
    • A few small interior tears in the vinyl (see pics
    here
    )
