Excellent fiber for beginning spinners. Spin a fine to medium woollen, worsted, or semi-worsted yarn.
Also a good felting fiber, especially good for needle felting. Our favorite fiber for felting around soap, soft but with enough texture to make a good scrubber. We figure we can get 6-8 bars worth out of 4 ounces.

On the best color for Caucasian SKIN TONE.
Camel is the closest to an olive complexion. It works best for the faces on older characters, gnomes, trolls, ect.
Peach is a peaches and cream complexion. Best for fairies, babies, fresh faced youngsters and bright faces.
Please note that while we do our best to accurately show each color, your computer/phone settings can change how the colors look to you. So what you see here is an approximation of how the colors may appear in real life.
The Merino sheep are found on sheep farms all over Australia. Its wool has a clear even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. The sheep are well cared for and are not mulesed.
The wool is scoured (washed) using an environmentally-friendly, biodegradable detergent. The wool is then dried and dyed. The dyes comply with the strict EU regulations and garments made from the roving can be certified under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This standard is the most widely known standard for certification of ecologically-safe clothing. (Detailed information can be found at www.oekotex.com). The fiber is then gently opened and conditioned. Carding machines align the fibers and remove any foreign matter. It is then gilled and combed.
Red, orange, gold, yellow, green, blue, purple, burgundy wine, pink, white, black, brown, tan, lavender, just to m=name a few wool colors.
